Our final project for computer animation was to take our same character and scene, but make the animation more exaggerated. It was a different approach for me but it was fun and I liked how it turned out! :)

Octopus Piece
This was my final project for my Drawing for Animators class. We got to created an environment for characters we created from the beginning of the semester. Digital painting is really challenging for me to grasp but I'm happy with how this one turned out.

DFA- Environment painting
This project was such a challenge for me. I had never done an environment painting before. Also, we were forced to use characters that we came up with at the beginning of the semester so it felt limited to where the environments could be. I actually ended up repainting the whole thing the weekend before it was due but it came out better than I expected. I'm just glad to be done with it! :)

Macklemore Caricature Painting
I posted a line drawing caricature of Macklemore a few weeks ago, and for class we had to digitally paint them. This is my first time doing anything like this. I keep wanting to poke at it but it's due tomorrow and I think I will call this the finished piece. I'm still wondering why I chose to someone with a furry coat but I learned a lot and had fun!

Meet George!
This is George! He is my push pull character that I will be animating in this coming week. He is a TSA agent that will be attempting to lift a huge bag. I designed the character, modeled and rigged him. This is the second character I've ever created in 3D and it was much easier this time and I had a lot of fun. George is excited to get started!

Macklemore Caricature
For my drawing for animators class we had to chose a famous celebrity and caricature them. I chose Macklemore, obviously :). This is just the lifework. We will be painting it in photoshop these next couple weeks! I'll update on the final!

Final Caricature
So in my last post I shared caricature explorations of myself. In class we created a full turn around of ourself as an animated character, this is me! Next semester we will model and animate ourselves. Should be fun!

Greeting Cards
For my final exam in my electronic illustration class we had about 3 hours to design and create three greeting cards. The first one is a congratulatory one, second is to say you're sorry, and the third is a mother's day card!

Electronic Illustration Class
I have been so busy that I haven't been able to draw as much as I would like. I've been working really hard in my electronic illustration class so I thought I would share some of the projects I've been doing.
Our first project was to draw any animal on paper, then scan it in and image trace it in illustrator. I chose to do a flamingo!
Our next project we had to design a two-toned screen print poster for a local event. Since I work at the Farmers' Market every week I thought that would be perfect so I designed a t-shirt for that event.
This project took me a while. We had to create our own pattern. I have a purse that has a cute floral pattern and I added a hot air balloon pin to it so I thought the two would work together in a pattern.
This is the project I just recently finished. We had to create an info graphic so I went with Breaking Bad! It was a lot of fun to make and I learned new things about the show too.
